Rose Marie Trujillo

Rose Marie Chacon Trujillo, 67, passed away peacefully at home on June 7, 2019, surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Trinidad, Colorado on December 3, 1951 to the union of Richard and Marie Chacon. She was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Marie Chacon and her brother Andrew Mares. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Charles Trujillo, brother, Ardell Cavitt, sister, Opal Morningstar, special nieces, Debbie Delnero and Victoria Watson, special friends Kathryn and George Rivera, and numerous other nephews and nieces as well. Rose retired after 20 years of employment at several Pueblo call centers. She was an avid railroad fan, especially narrow gauge trains, and she loved among other things, traveling the world, enjoying the outdoors and RV camping. The family expresses their deep appreciation to the Sangre De Cristo Hospice team. A viewing will be Wednesday, June 12, at 1:30 pm followed by service at 2pm at Imperial Funeral Home.
