

Rose M. Vigil, 75, entered into rest on January 18, 2017. Rose was born December 22, 1941, in Manassa, Colo. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Rudolph Gonzales; parents, Delfinio and Mary Ortega; siblings Edith Ortega, Frances Muniz, Betty Vigil, Delfinia Maxwell, Delfinio Ortega Jr., and Joseph S. Ortega. Survived by her daughters, Denise (Paul) Aragon and Randi Lee (Dylan) Addington; First husband Abel J. Vigil; Siblings David (Annie) Ortega, Leonard (Pollie) Ortega, Joyce (Ben) Maes, Geri (Louie) Madrid, Delbert (Patsy) Ortega, Judy (David) Montoya; special granddaughters Victoria and Lisa Hacsi, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She loved caring for children and shared a very special bond with Brian Romero, Antonio Cruz, Nicholas Padilla, Darin and Shawny Pitts. Rose worked as an Administrative Assistant at Pueblo School District 60 for 22 years. She was a member and deaconess at Pueblo First Seventh Day Adventist church, enjoying community service and outreach activities. Memorial Service, 10:00 am, Monday January 30, 2017, Pueblo First Seventh Day Adventist Church. Relatives and friends will be received at the church hall after the service.
