Roseann Curtis, 81, passed away peacefully but unexpectedly on November 27, 2022. She was born October 18, 1941 in Pueblo, Colorado. She and her family settled and raised her here in Pueblo where she attended school and graduated from Central High School in 1959. She worked for the Catholic Diocese for twenty-two years and then began a second career managing a law office. After she retired she worked part time for Dillard’s Department Stores.
Roseann is preceded in death by; her mother Steffie West, sister Floreen Dawson, brother Joseph Martinelli, in-laws Herbert and Denise Curtis, brother and sister in-law Charles and Jean Curtis. Her greatest and most heartbreaking loss was that of her precious son, Robert “Bobby” Curtis, Jr.
Left to carry her precious memory; her devoted husband and love of her life for sixty-five years, Robert “Bob” Curtis, daughter Jan Curtis, grandson Ryan Jordan and her precious great-granddaughter Zoeylynn Jordan, special friend Cleo Trujillo, and many other treasured family, nieces, nephews, and friends.
The Curtis family would like to send a special thank you for the dedication, care and thought that the following people have lent; Pueblo City Fire Department, Pueblo County Sheriffs' Office, AMR, Flight for Life crew, Saint Mary Corwin Hospital, Penrose Hospital and Imperial Funeral Home. Your dedication and care will not be forgotten.
To know Roseann, was to love her and she cherished her family very dearly and with such tenderness. The world was definitely a better place with her in it and she is dearly missed by her family and friends.
A viewing for Roseann will be held Monday, December 5, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at TG McCarthy Funeral Home, 329 Goodnight Ave, Pueblo, Colorado 81004. A rosary will begin at 9:30 am Tuesday December 6th, 2022 with a funeral mass to follow at 10:00 AM at Shrine of St. Therese, 300 Goodnight Avenue, Pueblo, Colorado 81004. An interment following service will follow the service 11:15 AM at Imperial Memorial Gardens, 5450 Highway 78 West, Pueblo, Colorado 81005.
