

Rosie was preceded in death by her grandparents Catarino and Cleofas Padilla and Pantaleon and Guadalupe Urioste; her parents Juan and Bernardita Padilla; brothers Vincent Padilla, Luis Espinoza, and Lee Norman Gonzales.
She is survived by her sisters Diana M. (Dave) Gonzales, Margaret (Mark) Padilla-Ruiz, and Dolores Saiz, as well as numerous nephews and nieces.
Rosie was born in Bernal, New Mexico, 15 miles south of Las Vegas, New Mexico. Rosie attended Bernal Elementary School. Rosie attended and graduated from West Las Vegas High School in 1974. When she was 18 years old, she moved to Las Vegas with her parents to attended New Mexico Highlands University. She attended NMHU from 1975 to 1977 with studies in Business Administration.
Rosie moved to Denver, Colorado before receiving her degree from NMHU. She worked and retired from Albertson’s Grocery Store after 33 years of service. She worked part time at Home Depot for 10 years. She had to quit when she was diagnosed with kidney failure and had to do dialysis three times a week.
Rosie’s interests were watching daily soaps on television and going to gamble at the casinos. She enjoyed going on scenic rides with her friends.
The family would like to thank Diana and Dave Gonzales for the love and care given to Rosie during her illness.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Imperial Memorial Gardens in Pueblo, Colorado.
A viewing will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 9am, with Rosary at 9:30am, and Mass at 10am at Our Lady of the Meadows Catholic Church, 23 Starling Drive, Pueblo, Colorado. Rosie will be laid to rest at Imperial Memorial Gardens, in the Garden of the Last Supper. The family will receive guests at a reception at Our Lady of the Meadows Catholic Church following the interment.
