Rufina G. Baca, 78, born to the union of Frank and Maria Gallegos in Taos, New Mexico on July 10, 1934 and went to be with the Lord on February 26, 2013. Survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Jose Lucrecio Baca of Pueblo; children, Connie (Sam) Espinoza, Bernice (Fred) Trujillo, Yvonne (Ernie) Aguilar all of Pueblo and Cynthia (Serafin) Manjarrez of Riverside, CA; grandchildren, Dan Espinoza, Lynette Quintana, Monica Hernandez, Joel Baca, Crystal Horton and Ben Aguilar; ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Eva Cordova and Laura (Victor) Rivas; and brother, Tito (Irene) Gallegos. Also survived by numerous relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents and brother, Manuel Gallegos. She worked as a Psych Tech for the State Hospital then later worked for the YMCA. She was a member of Holy Rosary Church and CCW. Viewing 1-3 p.m., Friday, March 1, 2013 at Adrian Comer Funeral Home. Rosary Service 1:15 p.m., by Nuestra Senora De la Solidad of Taos, New Mexico on Saturday, March 2, 2013 followed by Funeral Mass at 2 p.m., both held at Holy Rosary Church. Thank you to all who wrote condolenses and wrote of a special memory of my mom. It helps in the grieving to read your words. Yes, Mama Rufina was so very sweet, special and loved by many of us. She left me with so many wonderful memories especially of times in Arroyo Seco, NM where she was born. I want to personally thank you all for being a part of her that you were also a part of mine.
