Ruth Opal Herron, 89, passed away February 26, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Herron; daughter, Barbara Wibright; and 13 siblings. She is survived by her children, Bill (Sue) Herron, Beverly (Joan) Herron, Shirley Anaya, Ronald (Cheryl) Herron; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Clara Ann Prigmore; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. Ruth was a member of Royal Neighbors. She loved fishing, sewing, traveling and her grandchildren. Viewing will be 4-6 p.m., Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at T.G. McCarthy Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 2, 2011, at the Wild West Cowboy Church, 1025 S. Prairie Ave. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
