Ruth Elizabeth Samson

Ruth Elizabeth Samson, 94 went home to be with the Lord on September 13, 2015. She is preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Clara Doonan; her husband, Jim Samson; and brother, Bill Doonan; brother-in law, Jim Norwood. Survived by her children, Dan Samson, Mary (Bob) Dadd, Art Samson, Jim Samson, Joan (Anton) Koman, Bernard (Rhonda) Samson; 13 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; siblings, James (Esther) Doonan, Russell (Jane) Doonan, Doris Norwood, Michael (Bonnie) Doonan, Mary (Bill) Trute; sister-in law, Betty Doonan. Ruth served in the Navy during WWII. She attended First Southern Baptist Church. She loved to be outdoors gardening and tending to her raspberry bushes. Viewing 11am to 12:45pm.
