Joe Venezio, 88, went to be with the Lord on December 7, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents Samuel “Nick” and Lena Marie Venezio; brother, Jack Venezio; sister, Evelyn Venezio. Joe is survived by his wife of 66 years, Ruth of the family home; children, Sandy (Ken) Fowler, Lynda (Gene) Paradiso, Nancy (Greg) Fujita, Jack Waller, Joe Venezio, Pam Stupnik, Sherry (Don) Swick; grandchildren, Kenny, Catrina, Charlie, Johnna, Troy, Jaimie, Tiffani, Kim, Wendy, Jennifer, Joey, Gina, Billy, Amanda, Ashley, Lacey, Sam, Sara, Renee; sister, Dorothy Martin; sister in-law, Judy Lily; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Joe served in the Coast Guard. He was an avid hunter, spent time at Casper’s Donuts with the coffee club. He was a devoted lifetime mesa farmer, where he served on the Bessemer Ditch Board. Joe worked at the Pueblo Army Depot from 1951 – 1975. He loved his family and getting together for spaghetti dinners. He will be greatly missed by all.
