While a CSU pueblo, she was able to travel to Italy, and France something she loved and never forgot.
She married Hector Real on July 22, 2006. They had their son Armand, and daughter Yazzy. They then moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado where she began her nurse practitioner career at Peak view Behavioral Health. On her Facebook page she describes herself as;

Sara was smart, larger than life, funny, loving, caring. Being a wife and mother was something she was so proud to be. She loved her family so much. Sara believed in fairies, reincarnation, and her faith Wiccan, and she practiced herbology.
She leaves her husband, Hector, daughters Hannah Valdez, Yasmin Real, her son Armand, her mother Cheryl (Valdez) Johnson, Stepfather Ronald Johnson, her father Dennis Valdez Jr. stepmom, Janet, father in law Ricardo Real, her sister Jennifer (Kenny) Padilla, her brothers David (Julie) Petek, Dennis (Sheera Wallace) Valdez Jr.
Her beloved nieces Kiana, Mya, Sophie, Lorin, and nephew Cole. She also leaves special cousin Joe (Chinelle) Petek, and their children. She loved to dance and sing to K-pop music and gave her love and such to them. Musicals would captivate her and made her so happy. She was always the first to find games, and make everyone play. Her laughter could be heard across the room.
Sara will be, and is missed terribly, but her soul lives on. Her journey has taken her where we can’t follow, but she lives in our hearts forever. We love you Sara Real.
We give thanks to the EMT’s who struggled so hard to help Sara. Our thoughts to Imperial Funeral home for their thoughtfulness during our time of sorrow.
A celebration of life will be held July 29, at 1 pm at the community rec center at the Pueblo Grande mobile home Park 999 Fortino Blvd, Pueblo Colorado.
