I am sorry to learn that Dee passed away. My father worked for him on the Pueblo Fire Department and thought the world of him. My parents stayed in touch with him during his retirement years and considered him a good friend. Even though he was retired a long time, every time I hear his name or think of him, my childhood memories of him as a highly respected Assistant Fire Chief come to mind. May he rest in peace.

I enjoyed singing for Dee. He loved to hear "Peace in the Valley." I will sing it and think of him today.
