Stella Gagliardi, 91, was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and godmother. She left this world to be with the love of her life, Tony Gagliardi. They were married for an amazing 58 years and now they are together again for eternity. She was born in Pueblo, Colorado and was the daughter of Margaret and James. She graduated from Central High School in 1949 and worked for the District 60 school district. She was a devoted member of Holy Family Parish and enjoyed many hobbies such as bowling, cooking and loved hosting PTA meetings at her home. She enjoyed seeing family, especially her grand and great grandkids. She will be remembered for her cooking and baking; you could always find her in the kitchen. Stella had a smile that would light up any room. She is survived by her siblings, Fran and Jim Courtney and Elaine and John Pusedu, children, Charlie Gagliardi, Pete Gagliardi, Cathy and Jeff Aube, and Jim Gagliardi, her grandchildren, Cyndi and Drew Grace, Jeff Gagliardi, and Kayla Aube, and her great grandchildren, Jessica Gagliardi, Julia and Lydia Grace, and Ashton and Hunter Porter. She is reunited with her goddaughter in heaven, Judy Pusedu. She had many nieces, nephews, and cousins that she loved dearly and will always be dear to her heart. She enjoyed playing Rummikub with her sister Elaine. Ashton and Hunter always enjoyed going to see their grandma and eat lunch, search for easter eggs and give her hugs. Her celebration of life will be held on July 12th at Holy Family at 11 AM. Viewing of Stella will be held on July 11th from 3-7 PM at T.G. McCarthy Funeral Home.
