Sylvia Arlene Currie, 76, was born on November 02, 1940 in Trinidad, CO. She passed away on June 8, 2017. Sylvia was a graduate of Pueblo County High School. She later received an associate’s degree at Pueblo Jr. College. She was employed at the Metro State College for many years. She retired as an office manager at CDOT Pueblo. Sylvia also served on the board for Habitat for Humanity. She enjoyed yoga exercise, water aerobics, and her weekly Starbucks visit with workout friends and coach, Sue, Lee, and Janique. Survived by husband of 56 years, Lawrence R. Currie; son, Lawrence (Marie) Currie Jr.; daughters, Jenifer Dent and Nadine Radway; grandchildren, Ariana Incitti, Angelo Incitti, Jacob Dent, Sarah Dent, Aiden Currie; brothers, John (Dorthey) Mendoza and Wayne (Tressa) Mendoza; sister-in-laws, Martha (Michael) Anselmo, Lorna Deges, and Charlene Shelton. Funeral Mass, 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 16, 2017, at Our Lady of the Meadows. In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to Sangre De Cristo Hospice.
