

Thelma May Joxen, “Auntie,” 90, entered in to eternal peace Thursday, May 15, 2014. She retired from the State Hospital after 40 years of working in the medical records area. She loved to travel, go to shows and plays, and was an avid Bronco fan. In the 1950’s she loved to take her nephews and nieces to the then “Pueblo Dodgers” baseball games. Thelma is preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Minnie Joxen, and nephew, Michael Simony. She is survived by 2 sisters, Agnes (Edward) Simony and Eleanor Hill; 4 nephews, Jim (Marilyn) Simony, Paul Simony, Ben Hill, and Jeff Hill; one niece, Cheryl Hill; and numerous cousins, great-nephews and nieces, and other relatives and friends who will miss her. A viewing will be held at TG McCarthy Chapel, 5-7 p.m., Monday, May 19, followed by a Rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at St. Joseph Catholic Church followed by interment at Roselawn Cemetery.
