Thomas O. Brown

Thomas O. Brown passed away May 21, 2011. He is preceded in death by his parents, Earle Brown and Ruth Wagner; step-father, Paul Wagner; father-in-law, Vincent Ruhmann; brother, Richard Brown; sister, Nancy Kroenert; and brother-in-law, George Kroenert. Survived by his wife of 57 years, Julia Brown; daughters, Rene’ (Brad) Dallam and Gayle (John) Carbajal; and son, Tom (Jerri) Brown; his beloved dog, Buffy; grandchildren, Lindsi (Nick) Pisciotta, Vincent Brown, Tyler Dallam and Conner Dallam; great-grandsons, Jake and Joey Pisciotta; brother, Lynn (Judy) Brown; numerous nieces and nephews. Thomas retired from C.F. & I. Steel after 42 years and 5 minutes of service. He was a past Cub Scout Master of Troop #49, and was a past president of the Minnequa Club. He was a member of BPOE #90, and Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie #145. He was an avid water-skier and camper. Visitation, 3 – 7 p.m., Thursday; and Funeral Service, 10 a.m., Friday, May 27, 2011, all at T.G. McCarthy Funeral Home. Jill, Rene, (Scooter) Tom, Gayle, and families.
Tom was a very special person and fun at heart. Remembering all the great times at the Minnequa Club. He had such a hard time the last 16 years but had such a special family to watch over and take care of him. I know your hearts are breaking but Tom is at peace. Harold and he are probably telling jokes to each other by now. I cherish all the old memories.

My Uncle Tom had a marvelous sense of humor that he never lost. He was a fun fun, fun Uncle to have & I loved visiting him & my Aunt Jill. My mom Nancy Brown Kroenert adored her brother & will be glad to see him !
