My dearest cousins. My sincere condolences on Mom's passing.
Tomasita always welcomed me and my family with loving grace
and generous hospitality. I will cherish my childhood memories
when those Vigil's from Chicago showed up. 
We were offered such kindness by Tomasita and Gil.

Most humble loving and pleasant woman in the whole wide world.  When my dad Reub answered her phone calls or called her, as soon as he heard her voice, his whole tone changed like he was talking to an angel. I will always remember that most out of everything over the years. Bittersweet unconditional love!

I am so lucky to have your mom in my life.  Auntie Tommie was the most loving down to earth real person I ever knew.  I love her very much and will always cherish the few days I was able to stay with her in March.  She will remain in my heart forever.

I love my auntie Tommie and will never forget how she went hunting the streets of Denver to find me when I was taken away from my mom's custody, snatched right from the front yard! She meant the world to all of my and our families! Love her so much!! :( 

So sad to hear about the passing of Tomasita.  I worked with Tommie at Treasury many years ago.  And think fondly of her often.  Recently, while at All Saints church I noticed that they were asking for prayers for my sweet friend because she was ill.   I have been praying for her since.   Rest in Peace Tomasita.  Its been a long time but I have never forgotten you and you left a lasting imprint in my heart.  Condolences to all her family and friends. xoxo
