Tracy Ann (White) Ammeter, age 64, of Pueblo, Colorado passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025. Tracy was born in Pueblo, CO to Richard & Mary White. Tracy worked in the food service department for Freed and Pitts Middle schools for 20 years. At her work she was a stickler about staying busy and doing it right. Tracy enjoyed fishing. She could sit there all day. She just enjoyed being by a lake. Tracy will be remembered for her tenacity and her attention to detail. She was the most kindest and caring individual, but when you made her mad, which big D did, she was like tsunami. Tracy was the only person that kept big D in line, she had 45 years of practice. She is survived by husband of 45 years, Duane Ammeter Sr.; her children, Duane (Danielle) Ammeter Jr and Shelby (David) Purfield; grandchildren, Nadia, Nathan, Noelle, Zarryn, and Declan; brothers, Dick (Lorie) White and Bobby White; sister, Cindi (Rex) Childers; aunt, Esther; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Mary White; brother, Rodney White; and numerous aunts and uncles.
A Mass will be held at 9:20 AM on February 19, 2025 at St. Joseph's Catholic Parish.
