I really loved Val and her whole family. The joy, friendship and laughter she brought to my family, and especially to my dad John Spearing, will always be cherished. We have so many memories sitting at Val's bar, or in the restaurant having a very memorable meal, joking and trading stories with Jack, Dena and Dave! The teamwork she shared with her staff was infectious and inspiring. I miss her already, and wish I could have just shared that moment with her to let her know that she made a difference in my life and my families life.

Goodbye Val,

I will always remember all of the Monday nights eating dinner with you at the bar in Gaetanos, after you finished in the kitchen.

Thank you for all the paintings that you bought from me, but especially for being my friend.

Hope they have gambling in heaven!

So sorry to hear of Val's passing. I loved playing at her establishments so many years ago. She was a very kind and generous person. Heartfelt condolences to her family and friends.
