Wendell E. Franklin Sr., 76, born April 10, 1936 and went to be with the Lord on April 15, 2012. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Gladys; granddaughter, Cortney Williams; two grandsons, Adam and Mitchell Schulz. Wendell is survived by his wife of 26 years, Mary; children, Carl (Beverly) Bierman, Wendell Jr., Jeanie (David) Carlile, Susan (David) Schulz, Connie (George) Kern, Andy (Dawn) Franklin, Randy (Cecilia) Hogue, Shannon Barnes; sister, Vivian Ramsey; brother, George Douglas Franklin; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was a proud American and union ironworker with the Local #24. Wendell loved spending time with family, hunting, singing at church and karaoke, and working on Mopars. Donations may be made in his name through the funeral home office. Visitation, 3-7 pm, Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Imperial Funeral Home. Funeral Service, 2 pm, Friday, April 20 at Imperial Chapel, 5450 Hwy 78 W, Pueblo, CO. Interment, Imperial Memorial Gardens.
