She was born September 12, 1944 to the late Buford and Sara Ann Henderson Gibson and married the late Henry Abernathy.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Harwell of Ohio, her son, Roger Abernathy of Nashville, and numerous siblings.
Visitation will be held from 11 until 1 on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Fairview Church of Christ, 1765 Industrial Loop Rd, Pulaski, TN 38478, where Funeral Services will begin at 1 p.m. Burial to follow at Lynnwood Cemetery.
