She was born November 11, 1938 to the late Clyde W. and Lillie Mae Thrasher Hannah. She was also preceded in death by her husband, N.C. Brown, her son, Gay Brown, and her brother, Daniel Hannah.
Survivors include her son, Wayde Brown, her daughters, Nina Birdsong and Stephanie Russ, all of Goodspring, her sister, Patricia Ann Brooks of Murfreesboro, 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A Visitation for Barbara will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home, where Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday.
Barbara will be laid to rest in Oak Grove Cemetery.
