Brenda Nelson Dickey

Brenda was born in Cleveland, OH on July 31, 1943 to Marvin and Bernice Rose Nelson. She was a former employee of Kay Windsor, Santini’s Manufacturing, and retired from Maury Regional Medical Center. Brenda was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church, who loved to show God’s love by cooking for her family, taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as reading and doing puzzles. She is preceded in death by her parents Marvin and Bernice Nelson; husband of 58 years James Revis Dickey.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm on Wednesday July 30, 2025 at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 1pm on Thursday July 31, 2025 at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery.

Brenda is survived by her daughter Pam Dickey Matney and husband John of Ethridge; son Derrick Dickey of Ethridge; brother Leonard Nelson and wife Karen of Ethridge; grandson Josh Matney of Ethridge; granddaughter Adria White and husband Brad of Lawrenceburg; great granddaughter Avery White of Lawrenceburg; great grandson Elan White of Lawrenceburg.
