Mrs. Loyd was born July 23, 1916 in the McBurg community to Bruce and Pearl Pigg Reed. She was retired from General Shoe and preceded in death by her parents, her husband Herbert Loyd, and two grandsons Nathan Holleman and Jason Loyd.
Visitation will be Monday April 1, 2013 from 5 until 8 pm at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. Funeral will be 2 pm Tuesday April 2, 2013 at Carr & Erwin Chapel with interment in Maplewood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Second St. Church of Christ Building Fund or to Joseph Store House 1960 SE Tater Peeler Road Lebanon, TN 37090.
Survivors include her son Sam Loyd of Pulaski, three grandchildren Bryan Loyd, Tyler Loyd, Corey Gillen, two great grandchildren Blake Schroder, and Chaz Loyd.
