She was born in Tiptonville, TN on December 4, 1948, retired from Avex, and she was preceded in death by parents, David Wray and Winnie Oneida Brent Armstrong. Her husband was the late Sam Black.
Visitation will be on Friday, April 22, 2016, from 4PM to 7PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, 4-23-2016, at 2PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with burial to follow in Gatlin Cemetery.
Survivors are: sons, Brent Black and wife Angela of Prospect, TN, Chris Black of Prospect, TN, daughters, Leigh Ann Black (Mickey Whitworth) of Ardmore, Kim Jennings (Ricky Fernandez) of Prospect, brothers, Mike Armstrong of Knoxville, TN, Tony Armstrong of Prospect, TN, 6 grandchildren, Coleman, Lindsey and Ryan Jennings, Madison and Caymen Edwards, and Samantha Black.
