He was born in Lynnville, TN on October 31, 1934, served in the United States Army, was retired from Gabriel, and was a member of Lynnville United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Vaden and Odessa Hickman, a sister, Nellie Hickman Dugger and a brother, Bobby Joe Hickman.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 19, 2019, at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home, where Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be in Lynnwood Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Gale Hickman of Lynnville, his son, Steve Hickman of Lynnville, his grandson, Adam Hickman, and his great grandchild, Jaycee Hickman.
