Charles Franklin Thompson, age 87, died on Thursday, January 7, 2021 in Magnolia Regional Health Center, Corinth, Mississippi. He was born in Elkmont, AL on July 28, 1933, self employed logger, served in US Army during Korean War, Preceded in death by his parents, Morgan Franklin and Lena Pauline Adams Thompson, his wife, Mary Magdaline Thompson, son, Ricky Thompson, grandson, Michael Gray Thompson. Visitation will be on Sunday, January 10. 2021, from 4PM to 8PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 11, 2021, at 11 AM, at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with burial to follow in Minor Hill Cemetery. Survivors are: sons, Roger Thompson and Joanne of Minor Hill, Barry Thompson and Rhonda of Minor Hill, daughter, Kim Shults and Keith of Minor Hill, brother, Bobby Joe Thompson of Minor Hill, sisters, Mable Thornton and Charles of Minor Hill, Mereline Thornton and Archie of Minor Hill, 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Minor Hill Cemetery Fund, 354 Salem Road, Minor Hill, TN, 38473
