Clara Ann Wood

Clara Ann Wood, age 65 passed away peacefully at Meadowbrook Nursing Home on December 7, 2023. Ann was born January 8,1958 in Daytona Beach Florida. She was a 1976 graduate of Giles County High School. Ann will be deeply missed by her loved ones and all those who knew her. She is survived by her sister, Rita June Wood of Ormond Beach, Florida, her niece, Tara Wood Norwood (Rodney) of Minor Hill, her nephew, Tyler Wood (Elizabeth) of Nashville, great nephew, Reece Norwood of Minor Hill, and special friend, Mike Willoughby of Pulaski. She had a special bond with each of them and cherished the time they spent together. She is preceded in death by her parents, Betty June Wolaver Wood and Clarence Chapman Wood, half brothers, Clarence Carmen Wood and Vincent Wood, and grandparents, Evelyn Holley Story, Elvin A Story and Harold "Cap" Wolaver. The family and friends will gather at Carr and Erwin on Sunday, December 17, 2023 from 1:00 to 3:00 for visitation, with a Memorial Service at 3:00 pm. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
