Demund was born September 17, 1975 in Chicago, IL. He was a loving father and grandfather that will be missed dearly. Demund was preceded in death by his father Joe Lewis, his mother Charisse “Happy” Shumate, and grandmother Barbara Brown.

Survivors include his son Demund Lewis, Jr. and wife Nicole of Hohenwald, daughter Breauna Eyman of Nashville, grandchildren Kingsley, Za’riyah, Aakeem, Ka’ziyah, and brother Chonta Stidhum.
