He was born in Huntsville, AL on February 25, 1949, a Sunbeam Bread man, a business owner, a member of the American Legion, and a United States Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, David Turner Hinkle and Eula Mae Hargrove and his 2 brothers, David and Ronald Hinkle.
He is survived by his wife, Wendy Hinkle, the mother of his children, Kathy Hinkle, his sons, Don Hinkle and wife Michele of Pulaski, TN, Kenneth Hinkle and wife Kristy of Pulaski, TN, his daughters, Christy Simpson and husband Richard of Pulaski, TN, Kelly Taylor and husband Jon of Pulaski, TN, his brother Wayne Hinkle of Maryland, and 8 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Minor Hill First Baptist Church with burial to follow at Minor Hill Cemetery.
