My family has the most wonderful memories of Don and his wonderful family. Your house was the best place to hang out. Don (always be little don to me), Christy, Kelly and Kenneth I don’t know if you remember dressing up for Halloween and going trick or treating on that flatbed truck but we had a ball. Of course your mom and I would dress up also…. We probably had more fun than you kids did. Don was an asset to our community and helped many people when he ran the store and café. He was full of energy and made everyone around him feel better. All of you have a very special place in my family’s hearts. Don was always so proud of his children. We love you guys and please let us know if you need anything…

Wendy, I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember Don as a kind man with a great sense of humor. I loved sitting on the back porch at Larry’s and sharing stories and laughter with you both. I wish I could be there with you to provide my support but I have unavoidable work obligations. Please know that the Maxwell family is so proud of how you loved and cared for Don. Your big heart and undying love got him through the toughest of times. May God bless you for your kindness and see you through this difficult time.

I will never forget all the trips to TN, especially the July 4ths at the log cabin with you , Kathy and all of the kids. The fireworks and most of all, talking, laughing, great food and having fun with all our kids together and the mischief they all got in too...lol. You were a great brother-in-law and I will keep all the family memories of you, your family and ,of course, Granny Mae in my heart.
My condolences to everyone who knew and loved him.
