She was born in Frankewing, TN on November 2, 1923, worked at Lee Mar Shirt Factory as floor supervisor for 27 years, and was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas E. and Lena Lee Medley McGee.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 31, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home where Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. Burial to follow in Giles Memory Gardens.

Survivors are: sons, Gary Wayne Thornton and James Kent Thornton both of Pulaski, TN, daughters, Janice Lee Ferguson of Anderson, AL, Marsha Ann Patton of Pulaski, TN, brother, Tully McGee of Pulaski, TN, sister, Barbara June Wallace of Pulaski, TN, 5 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
