He was born in Giles County, TN, on July 18, 1944, served in The National Guard, his parents were the late Henry Thomas and Annie Ruth Curtis Birdsong, retired from City of Lewisburg.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4PM until 8PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, 9-20-2012, at 12:00 Noon at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery in Lewisburg, TN.
Survivors are: sons, Edwin Curtis Birdsong of Elizabethton, TN, Tony and Darrell Birdsong both of Lewisburg, TN, brothers, Robert Wayne Birdsong, William Birdsong and Lane Birdsong all of Pulaski, TN, 2 grandchildren.
