

Ella McNeil was born in Orlando, FL on January 18, 1943 to Willie Eugene Hall and Zerlene Daniels Hall. She was a RN who specialized in Critical Care at various hospitals in New Jersey, Florida, Virginia, Maryland, and the DC area. Ella loved her job taking care of others and loving her family which showed through in all aspects of her life including her love of exercising, being fondly called a “health nut”, reading scripture and health books, singing hymns, spending time outside watching the birds, golfing, and painting. She is preceded in death by her parents Willie and Zerlene Hall; son Shawn Avery McNeil; and 7 siblings Robert Hall, Willie E. Hall, Jr., Emma Louise Jordan, Otis Lee Hall, Lovelyn Hall, Davis Hall, and Timothy Hall.
Ella is survived by her son Fletcher F. McNeil, III and his wife Veronica McNeil who was known as her “BFF” of Prospect; daughter Monica Y. Ratliff (Richard) of Lake Ridge, VA; sisters Mary Lois Campbell (Norris) of Panama City, FL, Joyce Marshall (Lenny) of Lake City, FL; grandchildren Kharyce Cheatham (Jared) of Prospect, Khandyce Gilbert of Easton, PA; great grandchildren Jasmine, Karah, Jaden, Kai Kaliana; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
