She was born in Prospect, TN on August 2, 1925, a retired teacher, graduated from Martin Methodist College and Peabody College, taught school in Florida and Rockville, Maryland and traveled many places around the world. Preceded in death by her parents, Stout Pettus and Betsy Scott Davis.
Visitation will begin at 12noon on Wednesday, 11-4-2015, until funeral time at 2PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Prospect Cemetery.
Survivors are: nephews, Donald Davis of New Johnsonville, Jimmy Davis of Pulaski, Scott Curtis of Huntsville and Johnny Paisley of Columbia, nieces, Lucy Curtis of Huntsville, Juanita Hamby of Pulaski, Eris Ledford of Columbia, Betty Reasonover of Pulaski and Audrey Thurman of Pulaski, many great nephews and nieces, special friends, Marianne Blackwell, great niece, Ria Elwood.
