Eric Nathan Stoll, 36 of Pulaski, TN was born May 23, 1989. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend. He passed away suddenly on August 8, 2025 after being hit by a pickup truck who left the road and hit him while he was on his morning run. He was a member of the Goodspring Mennonite Church. He is deeply missed by his wife, children, family, friends, employees, and community.
Eric was a man of strong faith, passion, and love for the outdoors. He cherished his morning runs capturing the beauty of a sunrise, and spending quiet time with God in the stillness of the day. He was the founder of Old South Wood Preserving established in 2021 and worked tirelessly to build a successful business.
Eric is survived by his beloved wife, Frieda (Smoker) Stoll whom he married on May 14, 2011; his precious children Howard Anthony, Heather Abigail, Heidi Anne, Gilbert John, and Gabriel Eliot Stoll; his parents John Stoll and Ruth Stoll; siblings Martha and Tim Miller, Mary Kislinger, Matthew and Marlene Stoll, Lewis and Norma Stoll, Jessica and Brock Witmer, Derek and Clara Stoll, Kendon and Victoria Stoll, Jennafer and Ervin Lambright, Alan Stoll, Benjamin Stoll, Joshua Stoll, Joanna Stoll, Jeffrey Stoll, and Jadon Stoll; father in law Eli Smoker; brother in law Marvin Smoker; and sisters in law Anita and Viola Smoker, and many nieces and nephews.
Eric was preceded in death by his precious infant son, Gregory Nathan Stoll (July 31, 2025); infant sister Malinda Stoll; mother-in-law Carol Smoker; and brother-in-law Marlin Smoker.
Visitation will be held Thursday August 14, 2025 from 1pm-4pm and from 5pm-8pm at Mars Hill Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held at 10am on Friday August 15, 2025 at Mars Hill Baptist Church with interment following in Goodspring Mennonite Church Cemetery.
