Frances L Hill

She is preceded in death by her husband, W. J. Hill, parents, James T. and Martha Ethel VanHoozer Long, sisters Thelma L. Cron and Edith Gelene Long.

She is survived by 5 brothers, Thomas E. Long and Joseph C. Long of Elkton, TN, J. B. Long and Emily of Columbia, TN, Robert D. Long and Pat of Nashville, TN, Van K. Long and Maylene of Punta Gorda, FL, nieces and nephews.

Frances was born on February 24, 1930 in Conway, TN. She lived in Giles County her entire life and worked at First National Bank for over 35 years. After retirement, Frances was active in the community spending many hours volunteering as a Pink Lady at Hillside Hospital and the American Red Cross on the blood mobile. She was a lifelong United Methodist and a member of the Blooming Grove United Methodist Church.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Hewitt House, Caris Hospice and NHC Pulaski for their kind and compassionate care.

Visitation will be on Friday from 3PM to 7PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, 7-2-11, at 10AM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with burial in Elkton Cemetery.
