He was born in Giles County, TN on 9-12-1941, retired from Sun Drop Bottling Company, his parents were the late Earl and Bertha Scruggs Pickett, preceded in death by brothers, Junior, James and Joe Pickett.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, 8-25-2010, at the Oak Grove Baptist Church, the body will lie in state at the church from 1:00PM until funeral time at 2:00PM.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Oak Grove Cemetery at the Bank of Frankewing.
Survivors are: Wife, Sandra Francis Pickett of Pulaski, TN, daughters, Cynthia Pickett and Sabrina Hindman both of Pulaski, TN, brother, Carroll Pickett of Pulaski, TN, Grandchildren, Kimberly Stevenson, Tyler Glossup, Meredith Stevenson, Brody Glossup and Zoey Hindman.
