Gene Myers was born in Fall River, TN on August 23, 1943 to Johnnie and Hattie Mae Shook Myers. Gene retired from Murray Ohio and was a cattle farmer who loved listening to music on Willie’s Roadhouse, golfing, the Atlanta Braves, and watching western movies. Gene was a member of the Fall River Methodist Church and is preceded in death by his parents, loving wife of 59 years Glenda Gail Myers, 3 brothers, and 4 sisters.
Visitation will be 3pm-5pm on Wednesday June 26, 2024 with a Memorial Service to follow at 5 pm at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.
Gene is survived by daughter Tisha Kelly (Dwayne) of Lawrenceburg; grandchildren Katie Powell and Jessica Wright (Josh); great grandchild Bryleigh; his fur baby Delilah, 2 sisters; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
