George B. Woodard

George B. Woodard, age 92, died at his home in Pulaski, TN on Friday December 8, 2017. He was a charter member of The Well Church of God, previously known as Shoal Street Church of God, where he served as Church Clerk for over 40 years, as well as a song leader for many years and he loved working with wood. George is a retired saw operator for Stanley Handle Mill.

He is preceded in death by his parents William Hicks Woodard and Nina Belle Fralix Woodard, Sister Lucille Harwell, Brother Allen Woodard, and two grandsons Nathan Paul Garner and Gregory Lane Daniel.

He was survived by his wife Gloria Woodard of Pulaski, TN, son Mike Woodard of Pulaski, TN, daughters Becky Garner of Cleveland, TN, Ester Sanders and husband Tim of Pulaski, TN, Sara Bethe Woodard of Pulaski, TN, Michelle Johnson and husband David of Pulaski, TN, Sister Lillie Ziegler of Nashville, TN, 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m

Funeral Services will be Monday December 11, 2017 at The Well Church of God at 11:00 a.m. with a

Visitation before that from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
