Mr. Caudle was born February 6, 1932 in Coney Island, New York to Hal Merton and Clara Belle Johnson Caudle. He was a US Army veteran serving during the Korean War, retired Master Plumber Dept. Supervisor of the Broward County School System, 10 yr. Scout Master in the Boy Scouts, Volunteer Fire Chief in Parkland, FL, member of David Crockett Long Hunters Club, and preceded in death by his parents, brother James Edgar Caudle, and great granddaughter Dolly England.
Visitation will be Tuesday June 25, 2013 from 4 until 8 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday June 26, 2013 at Carr & Erwin Chapel with interment in Giles Memory Garden.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Survivors include his wife Polly Caudle, son Hal Caudle, III, daughter Cathi Wehrwein all of Pulaski, brother Bill Caudle of Summertown, sisters Ann Decatrel of Palm Beach, FL., Mary Silvario of San Luis Obispo, CA., three grandchildren Brandy Hayes, Jason Caudle, Rob Wehrwein, five step grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
