She was born in Goodspring, TN on November 4, 1929, retired from Ingram Book Company, member of the LaVergne Freewill Baptist Church, preceded in death by parents, Herbert Edward and Junie Madeline Sewell Carr, husband, Hoyt Davis, brothers, Howard and Harry Carr, sister, Jewell Nolen.
Visitation will be on Thursday, August 25, 2016, from 4pm to 7pm at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016, at 11a.m. at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with burial to follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
Survivors are: daughters, Denise Davenport and husband Alan of Smyrna, TN, Sandra Jones and husband Travis of LaVergne, TN, brothers, Willard Carr and wife Judy of Pulaski, TN, Alton Carr and wife Linda of Goodspring, TN, sisters, Lois Garner of Pulaski, TN, Norma Henderson and husband John T. of Pulaski, TN, 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
