He was born in Prospect , TN on October 20, 1935, retired from Maremont Gabriel Corp., served in the US Army, his parents were the late Vannie Edward and Bertha Mae Wells Tate, preceded in death by wife of 52 years, Louella Malone Tate.
Visitation will be on Thursday, 12-12-2013, from 4PM to 8PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, 12-13-2013, at 2PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home, with burial in Giles Memory Garden.
Survivors are: daughter, Melanie L. White of Pulaski, TN.
