James L Forbus

He was born in Obion County, TN on September 30, 1931, retired from General Motors, served in the US Army during the Korean War, his parents were the late James Franklin and Myrtle Lofton Forbus, he was preceded in death by his 1st wife of 23 years, Wanda Forbus, children, Belinda and Jimmy Forbus, stepson, Roy Milewski, brother, Jerry Forbus and grandchild, Christie Parsons.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 2PM until 8PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, 4-11-2014, at 11AM, at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with entombment in Giles Memory Garden.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Care Ministry.

Survivors are: wife, Martha (Marti) Forbus of Pulaski, TN, son, Gary and wife Connie Forbus of Melvindale, MI, daughters, Sue Battle of Minor Hill, TN, Reda and husband John Sabo on Melvindale, MI, Jane and husband Tony Ciesielski of Newport, MI, Anna and husband Walt Sierengowski of Chesterfield, MI, Amy and husband Brant Harwell of Pulaski, TN, brother, Jack and wife Shirley Forbus of Morris Chapel, TN, 18 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
