He was born February 20, 1935, retired from the Pulaski Citizen, a member of the Fairview Church of Christ, a member of Giles County Deer Hunters Association, and preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ethel Garner.
Visitation will be on Thursday, February 7, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home where Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Burial to follow in Giles Memory Gardens.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Garner of Pulaski, TN, his son Ricky Lee Garner of Pulaski, TN, his brother Oscar Garner and wife Mary of Knoxville, TN, his brother in law Herbert Burgess and his sister in law Chris Hooie both of Pulaski, TN, his niece Romona & husband Yuell James of Hartselle, AL, and other nieces and nephews.
