James Edward “Jim” Helton, age 71 of Pulaski passed away June 11, 2013. His parents were the late J.T. and Vannie Lou Johnson Helton. Jim was an avid outdoorsman and retired from Pulaski Rubber Company. He is preceded in death by wife Katherine Dawes Helton, sisters Evelynn McGee and Joyce Walls, and brother Thomas Helton. Survivors include his daughter Teresa Cheatham and husband Ricky, sons Charlie Helton and wife Heather, Jimmy Helton and wife Kendra, and Bobby Helton and wife Jami, brothers David and Kenneth Helton, all of Pulaski, Grandchildren Deanna King, Cheyanne, Brett, Jacob, Dylan, Katlin, and J C Helton, and Brandon Hand, and great grandchild AuBreeah King. Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday June 13, 2013 at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home where Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday June 14 2013 with burial to follow at Giles Memory Gardens.
