He was a United States Army Veteran and 84 years old. His parents were the late Robert Greene and Bertha Lee Evans Underwood. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Marvin and Cleve Underwood, his sisters Rubie Sands, Mavice Bonds Hubbell, Mary Underwood, and Lillian Underwood, and his grandson Jarrett Gray.
Survivors include his wife Mary Harwell Underwood of Lynnville, his brother Bill Underwood of Lynnville, his sister Sara Page of Lynnville, his granddaughter Jayda Gray Couch, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be held from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home where Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2015 with burial to follow in Lynnwood Cemetery.
