James was born in Minor Hill, TN on September 1, 1950 to Garland and Vera Thornton White. He was a former employee of Co-Op and worked in tool and die. James is preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers; 2 sisters.
A Memorial Celebration will be held from 10:30-2pm on Saturday July 5, 2025 at Minor Hill Park.
James is survived by his daughters Melissa Griffin of Pulaski, Terra Herston (Randall) of Rogersville; sister Julia Novak of OH; 5 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
