Mr. Hobbs was born November 15, 1948 in Decatur, AL. to the late Frank and Lucy Naomi Turner Hobbs. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Frank Hobbs, Jr.

Survivors include his wife Shelby Hobbs of Leoma, his son Curtis Hobbs of Columbia, his daughter Demetria Rigsby of Lawrenceburg, two grandchildren Riley Beth and Mason Ellis Rigsby.
