Jerry Baxter Jackson, age 93, of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021. Jerry was born April 19, 1928. He was a native of Minor Hill in Giles County, Tennessee and was retired from the City of Pulaski Sanitation Department. He was of the Church of Christ Faith.

A Visitation for Jerry will be held Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home, 1228 E. College Street, Pulaski, Tennessee, 38478. Funeral Services will follow at the Funeral Home beginning at 1:00 PM. with burial to follow at Minor Hill Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his son, Harry Randall Jackson, his parents, Raymond and Emma Lee Wright Jackson, his sisters, Lounette Cox and Azalee Hagood, his brothers, Robert Ross Jackson, Samuel Adrick Jackson, Brockton Wright Jackson, William Guffery Jackson, Stonewall Jackson, Sr., Dewitt Jackson, and Jimmie Shoat Jackson, and his step-son, Jason Lee McLain.

Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Vera Jean Elmore Jackson of Lawrenceburg, his daughter, Peggy McLain and Robert of Westpoint, his sisters-in-law, Nell Barksdale and Margaret Elmore of Athens, his step grandson, Brannon McLain and Amanda of Lawrenceburg, five step great grandchildren, three step great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
