He was born in Giles County, TN, December 6, 1938, his parents were the late Ollie Thomas and Laura Trotman Cardin, retired from Frito Lay, preceded in death by brothers, Ollie, Bob, Ray, James, Charlie and Gene Cardin, sisters, Helen Smith and Mary Ann Johnson Smith.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 4pm to 8pm at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home .
Funeral services will be 10am Friday, 12-14-2012, at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with burial in Giles Memory Garden.
Memorials may be made to Mt. Moriah Presbyterian Church Building Fund.
Survivors are: wife, Barbara Cardin of Pulaski, TN, sons, Jeff Cardin of Waynesboro, TN, Tom and wife Angelica Cardin of Pulaski, TN, brother, Alvie Cardin of Illinois, sister, Nell Mitchell of Pulaski, TN, grandchildren, Eric, Tyler and Chelsey Cardin, great grandchild, Eva Cardin.
