John Edward Cook Jr.

Mr. Cook was a lifelong resident of Pulaski. He drove a school bus for many years for the Giles County School System and was Giles County’s first county employee with the ambulance service.

Mr. Cook was preceded in death by his beloved wife Betty Sue Hagood Cook, parents John Edward & Charlie Emmaline Parsons Cook, brothers Orman Dexter Cook and Dale Crawford Cook.

Visitation will be Monday November 15, 2010 from 4 until 8pm at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. Funeral will be 1pm Tuesday November 16, 2010 at Carr & Erwin Chapel with interment in Giles Memory Garden.

Survivors include his daughter Deborah Sue “Debbie” Sulcer and husband Danny, brothers Kirkland Cook and wife Helen, Elwood Cook and wife Jean all of Pulaski, Jerry Cook and wife Debbie of Nashville, sister Ann Cook Haselton of Nashville, sister in laws Lurene Cook of Brentwood, Charlotte Cook of Nashville, Ruth Ann Davis and husband Jimmy of Pulaski, brother in laws Billy Hagood and wife Peggy of North Carolina, Roger Hagood and wife Ann of Texas, best friend and cousin Edward Parsons and wife Barbara of Pulaski and several nieces and nephews.
