Garland and Carol Fitzpatrick

John was quite a guy and pleasant to be around. He'd laugh at anything and laugh even louder when other people were laughing around him. John was a hard worker in his youth. I won't forget when I was a little boy, I watched him carrying big buckets of water up a steep hill, walking on rocks in his bare feet. That was his job and it made him strong. I laughed when l read the previous memory about him offering a 'bacca' chew to every visitor. He did that first thing when Carol and I came by to see him, Ray, and Avie a couple of years ago. He sure liked his coloring books until his eyesight got bad, so we quit sending them to him. John was a good person and I know he's in heaven looking down on us and smiling.

Always in my heart. Aunt Laura, Uncle Jim and Uncle John. Many many memories growing up in the same home. John was a mess. Loved his chewing tobacco and always offered you a chew. Loved to hear him pray and if anybody's prayers were ever heard I know his was. He always called me Annie Bell. R.I.P. John
